Welcome To Gramma Bebe’s Cottage

My name is Beverly Pettit and I’ve been playing with Dolls since the 1960’s.    I started out by repairing, restoring and redressing dolls for my Little Sister, and then kept on in the sixties for my daughters and nieces. That’s when the Barbies came out. So we started collecting Barbies and Mattel dolls.  Back than people thought you were crazy if you collected dolls.  So, I used my daughters as an excuse for buying dolls.  Than in the 80’s we started a doll Collectors club from than on I was hooked, I collected what I could afford, repaired and restored. Them also.  Our club turned into a Porcelain doll-making group because the antique and old dolls were getting too expensive to buy so we decided to make our own reproductions.  I started my shop in 1995 and made my own dolls, went to seminars and than in 1997 I begin teaching classes in doll making.  So Here I am an elderly Lady still playing with dolls.
